Drawing made me discover visual poetry. In painting, I try to be true to my basic visions.
Arild Andresen (Smøla 1948), grew up in Kristiansund. For many decades now he has been living in Grimstad, in the southern part of Norway.
His work is in constant evolution, but based on the same notions and visual poetic ambitions. The basic fascination for drawing will also be seen in most of the paintings: Human figure; energy and dynamics of motion. Hints to the mystery and moods of landscapes are also integral part of his work.
His artworks are seen in solo shows and group exhibitions annually. He is member of Tegnerforbundet and Norske Billedkunstnere (NBK)
